It is all about our reference framework

My travel took me to West Indies last week with short visits to Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Dominica, Barbados and St Lucia. I was looking around the island from business perspective (IT) and it is pretty obvious that there is going to be lots of opportunity for private entreprenours to make money on these islands.

What really blows my mind every now and then is the fact that my view on the world is completely different to many that I speak to…. I take many things for granted, while many other people view things that I speak about so fascinating and refreshing…. I kind of feel sad that many things that I got to enjoy and be wondering about are ordinary to me. My former boss, Chairman of the Board of the company I was corporate CEO for used to tell me “remember Petri to enjoy of things that you used to enjoy”. I remember this statement specifically on my way to New York in a cab overlooking Manhattan… That beautiful view is hard to beat….

So, I need to capture these things in my upcoming book with Talentum. If nothinhg else, if somebody realizes this and stops for a while to pnder about this, I have accomplished something….
